Following the November 2015 GFBR meeting, the Fondation Mérieux held a one-day workshop entitled “Towards better sharing of data and samples collected during trials in resource-limited countries”. The meeting involved a number of GFBR participants and featured sessions discussing international collaboration, legal frameworks for uses of personal data and perspectives from the pharmaceutical industry. The GFBR is pleased to announce the launch of its new website, coinciding with the Forum’s first full meeting since 2008. The refreshed website reflects the exciting relaunch of GFBR and will serve as a platform for promoting dialogue on ethical issues related to health research in international settings. Containing archived materials from the GFBR’s
